It's just a season...

Just as seasons change in nature, seasons change in life. My chalkboard inspiration- "To everything there is a season.."    Reminding myself of this Proverb.  I'm in a season and seasons don't last forever.   Grateful for all the seasons in life.
I'm even feeling a change of season with my blogging.  Next month my blog turns a year old!  We'll celebrate with a giveaway.  More about that later.
Speaking of seasons...AuTumN is here!  Scattering a little fall around the Borrowed House kitchen. Remember my orange toned cabinets and back splash?  I'm embracing the color as an accent to blacks and creams. Not a bad combo I tell ya.
If you can't beat it, join it.

Touches of fall and vignettes...

Love using my zebra rug here.  It was just the right length to go in front of my working area.

And the above picture is a sneak peek of more to come.  Can't wait to show you my bargains.

I love your kitchen, Tammy! You have it decorated perfectly for fall. I am loving the glittery pumpkins and fruit, but I can't find it anywhere!! Love those little birds, too. You've done a great job!

Janie

Hello my dear friend,
I loved your comment today on my blog, you are just too sweet!
Yes, you are so right, Seasons come and seasons go...blessed be the name of the Lord! Sometimes we have to yield to it and go with the flow and leave ourselves open to learn from them.
Your kitchen is looking very pretty, I love the Zebra rug, very nice. I also adore the black iron pumpkin on your dining room table, just peeking out from one of the photos. Enjoy life, enjoy your little Prince at home still and be a light, right where you are. Or as they say, "Bloom where you are planted."
Love and hugs, Cindy

Your kitchen is a nice backdrop for fall colors. I like the little vignettes you've shown, and the wreath in the recent post was a great find. I agree, you couldn't buy the materials for $2.50. I just may have to venture over to Target tomorrow. ;-)
Happy Sunday! ~ Sarah

What a lovely kitchen! My grandma likes to bake all the time, so I'm sure that if ever she'll move in to one of those retirement homes (PA), she'll choose the house that has the best kitchen where she can bake all the cupcakes and cookies she want. I think baking is one of the most suitable activities one can do during his or her retirement. PA has senior communities that can accommodate that hobby, so I guess it wouldn't be a problem for grandma in the future.
