Cottage Inspiration

My idea of the perfect decor is forever changing.  Wish I could own a home to reflect every single style I love.  An urban loft in the city, a ranch in the country, a cottage near the beach, an arts and crafts in the burbs, a Victorian or Tudor in historic downtown, a Georgian on lush acreage and a farmhouse near the lake, just to name a few.  I have H.I.C. (aka House Identity Crisis)  But for today, I am inspired by my new Cottage Style magazine.  Have you got a copy yet?  Oh, you must!  Here's a sampling.  The photos are all so luscious. (The pink decor is for Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound, check out all the pink loveliness over there.  And of course, the inspiration is my contribution to Friday Inspiration over at the Inspired Room, a beautiful blog!)
On a tech note, can anyone tell me why some of my photos come up as a blank square and why some photos do not show up on other blogs on my screen?  Thinking maybe I did something wrong with one of my settings?  Any help is greatly appreciated as I'm also C.I.C. (aka Computer Intellectually Challenged)

My dream beach cottage, pink bike and all.

Likey the globes ...

An abundance of roses speaks opulence...

Lovely pink inspired bedrooms...

My favorite, since I'm so hung up on ottomans.  Look at the crisscross of the tacks.  Sweet...

Inspire yourself this week with your favorite home decorating magazines!  It's refreshing!

I've been hinting to my husband "if you would like to buy me something cheap...I would a subscription to Coastal Living.." So far no bite. Love the post

Hi Tammy! Great post and pictures! The globes are my favorite. I understand your decorating interests, some days I'm all over the place.
You're the second person I've read that's having problems with blogger. I lost half of my post the other day. I'm in the CIC club too! Have a great weekend!

I could move into the photos and be perfectly happy :)

Don't know why your photos are disappearing. Weird.

I feel the same way you do a lot of the time, Tammy. Sort of spread out in my decorating styles. I have the house on the lake and even though I have an English Country decor going on there, sometimes I buy something that has nothing to do with that because I love it. And I think it is okay to mix styles because we should have what we love. And no one loves just one thing.

I just bought the magazine and I am SLOWLY going through it to savor every page!!

I'm all over the place too. I don't even know what you would call my decorating style. Great cottage. I really love the pink bike!

Dearest Tammy,
My favorite style is the white and light cottage decor but, I love all of the styles that you mentioned. Each home that I have moved into, I have tried to find what it is meant to look like. I am just now figuring this place out. I have been here just over a year.
I have never seen that magazine, maybe it isn't sold in Canada. Enjoy for me, too, will ya?! The images you showed are TDF!!!
If we lived even close to each other we would be bosom pals! We have so many things in common. And, if you lived close enough for a visit then I would LOVE for you to come over often for a cuppa' whatever and I would enjoy your company enormously. I have no doubt of that.
Hugs, Cindy

Now I know there's a name to this illness, H.I.C. Thanks. :O) I think the pictures I like best are the ones of family enjoying themselves together at home. As far as why some photos don't show, I've had that happen and never figured it out.

Beautiful blog post! I love the pink bicycle!

Sorry, I am much too inept in blog-ography (:) ) to offer any advice about disappearing photos. It all looks perfect to me.

HI Tammy, I got the Easter eggs at TJ Maxx/HomeGoods a few weeks ago. They are big and best of all, wood, so they will last forever.
