Peace on Earth GOODWILL to men...

Made a little trip to the GW today and found some Christmas treasures...

I am slow to decorate for Christmas this year.   But, I've barely got everything together for everyday living in our new house much less for Christmas.  A quick trip to GW this morning to find some glass containers for candy to sit on my mantle in the keeping room, and I ended up with all of this!
A faux cranberry tabletop tree..

Another table top tree which I adore because it is in a burlap bag...

The silver snowflake candle holder will work well with my silver decorations in the living room.  Who could pass it up for a buck?

The picture frame is not really for Christmas but I guess it is a Christmas present, for me!

Another present to myself was this very large and sturdy basket.  I've been looking for one to put all my pillows and blankets in beside the fireplace.  Hooray!  Found one for $7!  Thinking I"ll paint it black eventually.

I didn't really need this wreath, but... it was so big and I could add just about anything to it!

And last but not least, a pretty green velvet lumbar pillow tirmmed in red.

Who knew I"d find such Goodwill this morning? And all for less than $30!  Joy to the world!

Wow did you score!! Great finds. You must have a very nice Goodwill.

Our local Goodwill isn't very nice but there is one, two hours away in "the city" (Portland) that has a fabulous, upscale Goodwill. I love that store.

I cannot believe you got all of those things for $30!!!! Our thrift/goodwill stores over here never have anything great in them so I have given up looking these days. Your finds are amazing!

Hope you are well and enjoying the fun and happiness of Christmas preparations.
Best wishes, Natasha.

Tammy, thanks for stopping by my new blog !! I responded to your witty comments over there. I LOVE your house ... and, yes, what a score at the Goodwill (really love the cranberry tree). You have a beautiful family. And, I love your quote in your boys' room ... I have that same quote in Jax's playroom (just didn't show it on my page ... maybe I'll go back and add it in so you can see). Take care, Becca
