First and Last

This will be my first time to post on Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch!  I've enjoyed so many beautiful tablescapes there.  This is also my last time to post this year because we are headed home (TX)!  Can't wait to see family.  We had our own little family Christmas today.  This was the dining room table set for lunch.  My kids requested lasagna and spaghetti, so it was.  Took me a little while to prepare the lasanga but it was worth it.  We had such a wonderful Christmas.  Nothing like seeing Christmas through a child's eyes.  My heart is overflowing, my ears are ringing from the gadget toys and I'm dodging nerf bullets!  I wouldn't want it any other way.  So blessed!  Merry Christmas everybody!  See ya next year!!

Couldn't resist this last picture of my little ghetto looking children in their Christmas pj's.  We have a tradition at our house of opening one present early the night before.  It's always pj's.  For some reason, they act surprised every time.  No other time would they get as excited over pj's.  All Prince O wanted for Christmas was cowboy boots!  That's all he talked about.  Santa brought him an entire outfit w/ chaps and everything (not all pictured.)  Just in time for our trip to Texas!  yeehaw!  Getty up!  We couldn't leave out big bro and sis on the hats.  I'd say my children look multicultural here!  lol

*Plates, cup/saucer, napkin rings and flatware from Pier One.  Glasses from Dollar Store (easy in a 4 year old's hands) and Wal Mart place mats.  Napkins are paper, left over from Halloween (Target.)

Your dining room looks so beautiful! Your table is set so pretty, you have gorgeous dishes. Have a wonderful time with your family in Texas. We are home and it has snowed about six or seven inches over the last day or so. It is so pretty, but it isn't real cold, so we are enjoying it immensely. It is a nice dry snow, I don't suppose you will see any white where you are going. Merry Christmas :o) Hugs and love going your way, Cindy S

Wow Tammy, you definitely have talent! And cute kids too. :)
You should comment on my post titled "Passion." I can guess what yours is...or maybe you'd surprise me by saying your passion is someting else.
Hope you enjoyed Texas.
